Zanaat Tapes, is a project funded by CultureCivic is a European Union project that aims to foster civil society involvement in the field of arts and culture.

 

This project curated by musician/producer Berhan Yıldız, is based on creating archival sound library of lethe workers in Karaköy/Istanbul. as an output of the project he created a 10 minute long composition of those sounds he collected.

 

I was responsible for the visual aspect of project, I shot and edited the whole process that happened during the project for about a year. I was mostly focusing on visualising the sounds that Berhan caught and I wanted to shift the perspective of the composition into a more experimental documentary structure.
